What is the best way to get the best deal / military discount for a cruise in Hawaii ?

Q) Who has the best offers for military? Or is there another way to see all the islands without going on the major cruiselines(Carnival, NCL, Celebrity, etc). I heard the best way to travel all the islands is indeed to travel through a cruise... but if you have better ideas let me know. As I said also let me know the best cruise options. I am deploying in September and want to take my wife to Hawaii when I get back. Thanks!

A) Carnival gives a very nice military discount to AD, Retiress AND Veterans.. all you need is a DD-214 showing at least 2 years honorable service or a current ID. But not all sailings have them, and there are limited numbers available. OR you could utilize the Hale Koa, the DoD run resort in Waikiki on Ft DeRussy. rates are based on paygrade, and are loads cheaper than anywhere else in Waikiki. There is also another resort on Maui or the Big Island, I think..
